About Us

Our mission at Canyon Animal Hospital is to provide quality veterinary care.  At Canyon Animal Hospital, our service is catered to your critters in a relaxed environment. We start by reviewing previous medical records and obtaining a thorough history, so the physician is familiar with your loved ones. Next, we perform a physical examination from head to tail and listen to their heart and lungs to evaluate their overall status. Depending on their history and/or physical exam findings, diagnostics ranging from heart worm testing, skin/ear sampling, urine parameters, tear production, fluorescein stain for corneal ulcers and ultrasound imaging, to sending out blood, urine, fecal and mass samples to the lab are available. If your companion is happy and healthy, we provide the most common vaccines for canines and felines to stay up to date with their immunizations. Depending on their ailments, treatment services available include nail trims, ear cleaning, deworming, minor wound care, bandaging, fluid therapy, medications and can write scripts to be picked up or delivered at the pharmacy. A medical record is written and emailed at the end of the visit, so you have it on hand in case of an emergency or to archive their records. Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your companion.
